My Series of drawings Magical Thinking at the Arkell Museum in Canajoharie New York was scheduled for August 2010: the date has changed. It has been moved up to April 2nd-May 28th 2010.
The series: I am drawing my own oversized deck of 52 cards as a symbol of magical thinking.
Throughout human time the use of fetishes, (rosary, numbers, rabbits foot etc.) to facilate wish fulfilment-hope-is universal.
I use elements of the short story, setting, characters, point of view mixed with color and line to create new dreams and memories. Fourteen of the drawings are scheduled to be shown.
I am very excited about my show!
